Richard and Karen Kemp sat there at a wedding in 2007 thinking - 'how can anyone serve this food at a wedding?'. They decided that with her LOVE of cooking, menu design and sense of style, and his project management - they had everything they needed to make a difference in the sluggish and complacent world of wedding catering.

Seven years on they are still making homemade food for 50 weddings a year, and have won 'Wedding Caterer of The Year' for the West Midlands in the National Wedding Industry Awards for FOUR years running - no one else has ever won this title in fact as the Awards have been going four years!

They keep the company small and intimate so that standards can be maintained and have now built a great team who can deliver the 'Kemp & Kemp Experience' to couples from North Yorkshire to North London. 

The most common comment they get from their customers is "all our guests are still talking about the fabulous food months later, and they all say it was the best wedding food they've ever had". That's good as it was this that Richard and Karen set out to achieve when they began.
